On Sunday, January 25, 2015 the Collectif VAN staged from 9am to 18pm in the ESG (School of Management) a photo exhibition on the theme “A world engulfed – Armenians in the Ottoman Empire (Turkey ) before the 1915 genocide, “courtesy of Vahe Tachjian [Site Director Houshamadyan] and support of Frédéric Encel. This exhibition was held during the conference “Photography and Mass Crime”, organized under the aegis of Yahad In Unum by Frédéric Encel, professor at ESG MS and Father Patrick Desbois (“The Holocaust by bullets”). Photos – met in a university by the Collectif VAN – essentially showed groups of pupils and students witnessed a massive Armenian presence – forever annihilated – Turkey in the early twentieth century. This temporary exhibition, organized by the Collectif VAN, can be considered the first Parisian event for the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
