YEREVAN. – Armenia’s culture ministry has invited to a public discussion on the matter of renaming Zvartnots airport after world famous singer Charles Aznavour.
The ministry released a statement inviting everyone to fill in the application till November 5 in order to express opinion on the matter.

The official ceremony of the opening Charles Aznavour’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has kicked off.
Charles Aznavour was invited on Monday to the Consulate of Armenia in Marseille, where he was awarded the medal of the 11th and 12th arrondissements of the city by deputy mayor Valerie Boyer.
Prominent Armenian chansonnier Charles Aznavour, who is visiting Armenia in the scope of Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, visited today the Tatev Monastery accompanied by his son Nikola Aznavour, friends and colleagues.
