President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on a working visit to Brazil, attended, in capital city Brasília, the groundbreaking ceremony for the building of the Embassy of Armenia in Brazil.

Construction of embassy building is scheduled to be completed within one year.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, and Minister of Foreign Relations of Brazil José Serra delivered remarks during the groundbreaking ceremony.

After the ceremony, a joint memo was signed and a respective container was placed in the foundation of the embassy building which is under construction.
