Armenia has created new anti-hail stations. In comparison with the operating analogues, they have a 20% larger protective coverage, Locator CJSC representative Karen Grigoryan told Armenian News – NEWS.am. Besides, modern control system is installed on them.
According to Grigoryan, due to the new station, Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, which controls the network of the republic’s anti-hail stations, will be able to read from control centre all the station parameters in real time. Those parameters will include gas supplies (used for disrupting hail clouds), its pressure in the containers, etc.
“We have already conducted talks with the Ministry and are ready to deliver to the republic as much equipment as possible to protect our farmers from hail. We also want to look into the opportunities for export to the neighboring Georgia and Iran, as well as the EU states,” Grigoryan said.
