Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received on Monday Mr Jabbar Gargash (United Arab Emirates), founder of the Zohal company, A. Manzhosov (Austria), co-owner of the Zohal company and Mr. Ivo Georgiev, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Helios Power.

The sides discussed prospects for development of Armenia’s energy sector.

Mr Jabbar Gargash noted that the Zohal company is interesting in investing in Armenia’s energy sector and implementing a long-term program in different fields (solar and wind energy, and so on).

Armenia’s premier welcomed the company’s willingness t invest in Armenia’s energy sector and assured Mr Gargarsh that Armenia’s government will support implementation of mutually beneficial projects.

Mr Abrahamyan said that Armenia’s government is now discussing a strategy of long-term development of Armenia’s energy sector. In this context, Armenia is interested in long-term implementation of reforms and development of new sectors.

Armenia’s premier stressed the importance of cooperation with Armenia’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in specifying the immediate projects.
