Members of NGOs and youth organizations, Yerkrapah Volunteer Union and Armenian Veterans Union, servicemen and employees of various organizations under the jurisdiction of Yerevan Municipality participated today in the cleaning works of Tsitsernakaberd (about 110 hectares) as part of the Municipality-initiated program ‘A Cleaner Yerevan,’ reported the press service of Yerevan Municipality.

U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern also participated in the cleaning works, the report said.

More than 2,500 volunteers have so far participated in ‘A Cleaner Yerevan’ program.
