Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council, held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev, Grigoryan wrote on his Facebook page.
“We discussed our cooperation agenda in both bilateral and multilateral formats as well as a wide scope of issues concerning the security agenda,” Grigoryan wrote.
The strengthening of continuous cooperation in the defense and security sectors was bilaterally stressed, NSC Secretary said, adding: “Meanwhile, I expressed my concerns over the recent bellicose rhetoric of Azerbaijan and the accumulation of military equipment at the border.”
Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, highlighted the need to resume peace talks aimed at the NK settlement process.
Number of ongoing programmes were a topic of discussion between the two officials, the message said.
