Winner of the Prince Claus Foundation dutch, Iranian photographer newsha tavakolian decided to share the prize with migrants fleeing Syria and Iraq, two countries where it worked several times.

“Unfortunately, it’s hard for me to take this award as I would like, when I see areas where I work in flames and tens of thousands of people seeking refuge away from home”, a-t- she wrote on her Facebook account Saturday.
