Russian cosmonaut Sergey Ryazansky congratulated everyone on Saint Valentine’s Day marked on Feb. 14 and published photos of Lake Van taken from the space.
The photos depict Lake Van located in the territory of modern Turkey. The lake resembles a heart in shape.
“Happy St Valentine’s Day! Famous Lake Van has prepared such a photo as a gift for the inhabitants of our planet,” Ryazansky wrote on his Facebook page.
Lake Van is the largest soda lake and the fourth closed-basin perennial lake in the world.
Earlier the Russian cosmonaut posted the space images of Yerevan and Lake Sevan.
